The Darroch Family is one of the oldest boat creation families in New Zealand. The family have 2 companies linked to boating products, Akron Inflatable Boats and Akron Boat Trailers.
Akron Boat Trailers has a wide assortment of Boat Trailers for sale. All trailers are inside the $1450 to $3650 price range (as of 2011). The trailers assort from 3 – 6 metres in length and are all galvanised, including galvanised wheels, galvanised springs, etc.
One kind of trailer sold by the enterprise is the YTR – 330, known as the Small Boat Trailer. The model is 4 meters long, 1.54 metres wide with a frame proportion of 70 times 50mm and a tyre size of 155R12. The trailer is 168kg and can hold a max load of 400 kilograms.
